What should I wear for the photoshoot?

I provide free personalized styling recommendations to help you create two distinct looks for your session, including suggestions for hair, makeup, and outfits. These recommendations are tailored based on an in-depth conversation with you about your vision and the desired outcome of your photoshoot.

A few general guidelines that apply to all sessions:

Choose bold, solid colors: They stand out beautifully in photos.
Avoid patterns: Patterns can distract from the main focus—you!
Keep jewelry minimal: Simple pieces ensure the focus stays on your natural beauty.
Go for natural nails: Neutral or bare nails are timeless and photograph better than bold or extravagant manicures.

With these tips and our collaborative planning, your photoshoot will reflect your style and create stunning results.

How far out do you book?

I typically take 3–4 clients per month, so availability can fill up quickly. Once you contact me, you can choose a week that works for you—I usually schedule photoshoots on Saturdays.

Before the shoot, we’ll have an individual consultation to discuss your vision and plan the session. Keep in mind, it can take 2–4 weeks to finalize your wardrobe, especially if you decide to order specific outfits for the shoot.

To ensure plenty of preparation time and the best possible experience, I recommend booking at least a month in advance.

What location should I choose?

During our individual consultation, we’ll discuss the best location to bring your vision to life. Whether it’s an outdoor spot surrounded by nature or an indoor space with plenty of natural light, the choice will be tailored to your desired outcome.

We can explore free options or consider locations that require a fee, such as rentals, studios, or unique venues. Together, we’ll select the perfect setting to create beautiful and meaningful photos.

Can I bring someone with me to the session for support?

I understand the desire to bring someone along for support. However, the nature of the shoot requires privacy to ensure you feel completely at ease and uninhibited in front of the camera. From my experience, this approach helps create the most authentic and beautiful results.

If you’d like a few shots with your child, partner, or even your dog, we can arrange for them to join us at the very end of your session for those special moments. This way, you’ll have the best of both worlds—focused, private time and meaningful shots with loved ones.

How long does a photoshoot usually take?

I don’t set strict time limits on sessions, allowing us to take the time needed to create beautiful images without feeling rushed. On average, a session lasts about 2 hours.

If we’re in a rented space, the session might be limited to a specific time frame based on the venue’s policies. However, my general rule is to keep shooting until I’m confident we’ve captured enough stunning shots to guarantee at least 15 magazine-cover-worthy images for you to cherish.

Will my photos be shared publicly or used for marketing?

I only share photos with your consent. Your privacy is a priority.

I’ve never done a photoshoot before—will you guide me?

Yes, I’ll guide you every step of the way, from posing to helping you feel comfortable. My goal is to make the session relaxed and enjoyable.

How do I book a photoshoot?

Booking is simple! Just reach out to me through my website, social media, or email. From there, we’ll start by scheduling your individual consultation to plan your session and bring your vision to life.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, a 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot, before we begin. This ensures everything is set and ready for your session.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance can be rescheduled without penalty. Deposits are non-refundable, but I’ll work with you to find a new date if needed.

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate on the day of the shoot?

If the weather doesn’t work out, we’ll reschedule at no additional cost to ensure your session is perfect.

Do you provide black-and-white or color photos?

All photos will be delivered in black-and-white by default. If you would like some shots in color, please let me know in advance so that I can accommodate your request.

How many photos do I get?

You will receive at least 15 beautifully edited, magazine-quality photos.

In addition, I’ll share all successful shots from the session with light editing, so you’ll have a variety of moments to enjoy and cherish beyond the final selections.

How do I get my photos?

Your photos will be delivered digitally through a private online gallery within 2–3 weeks after the photoshoot. This ensures you can easily view, download, and share your images.
